Project developers are companies with technically qualified professionals to develop, execute, and monitor carbon projects throughout their lifecycle. They work from conception through post-delivery, ensuring technical compliance, methodological consistency, and adherence to Lux Carbon's eligibility and traceability criteria.
The compliance and reliability of Lux Carbon's certification processes are attested by external and impartial auditors.
Audits are independent entities with the technical capacity to validate and verify the compliance of carbon projects. They operate at two distinct stages — validating eligibility and verifying the project in the field — ensuring that every certified carbon credit meets rigorous technical criteria, represents real environmental impact, and maintains credibility with the market and society.
